My Story
Since I was 12 years old, I have always been tinkering with a camera. Whether it was creating comedy sketches or backyard wrestling, my best days as a kid were spent making videos with friends and taking photos. It was only natural that I would pick this as a career.
In high school, I was voted President of the Hempfield 15601 Morning News Program and spent every morning directing our live broadcasts.
I attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for college because I loved the idea of hands-on learning. I earned a bachelor's degree in Digital Media Production.
After college, I bought my first professional camera (with help from my grandparents) and started covering weddings and special events. Over the years I have worked on independent films, comedy sketches, podcasts, live streams, web series, sporting events and I even worked for a radio station for 5 years (107.1 FM WHJB Greensburg).
As the cameras changed, I expanded into DSLRs and taking professional photos, which landed me a job at Smail Auto Group, taking photos of their automotive inventory.
During this time, I really got into the sport of Disc Golf. It gave birth to a Youtube Channel and Facebook page I run called Disc Golf Examiner. Over the years, I have gotten to cover and interview tons of professionals in the sport, review products and make friends and grow our Disc Golf community via social media platforms.
When people at work saw the content I was producing on the side, they asked me to move into a videographer position at the auto group. There we created engaging, informative videos that really built a following. There was a lot of learning involved and figuring out what our audience wanted, but after a little while we were able to create videos that got over a million views.
In 2021, I started another big journey, this time for weightloss! I lost 100 pounds between 2021 and 2023! Currently, I am in the best shape of my life and have a whole new energy driving me forward.
I'm really proud of what I have accomplished so far and I'm even more excited to see what the next stop on my journey is!
